Harvest Bonanza 2014!

Through the generous contributions of many individuals and companies we partnered to give away 5,000 lbs of imperishable food items, 4,000 lbs. of potatoes, 2,000 lbs. of pinto beans, 1,000 lbs. of rice, and a whole lot of produce, household items, beauty products, diapers, and clothes to those in need throughout South Central Nebraska. It was a great success as we saw over 350 people come to receive help.

What is the Harvest Bonanza?

It is a "celebration of sharing." We partner with local individuals and organizations who donate food (bulk goods and non-perishable food items), basic household goods (toiletries, diapers, etc.), and money in order to take our excess resources and provide them to those in need.

What's new this year?

  • We will focus on building sustainability and connecting those in need to more permanent means of supporting themselves and their families.
  • A special concert at 7:00PM in the Gibbon Public School auditorium to bring the community together and celebrate God's mercies. Featuring the Kristina Craig band!
